Gray Hair Management Meeting

Charlie Scarlett has another management networking meeting scheduled for Thursday, August 17th at the Bulls and Bears Cafe in Des Peres from 7:00 to 9:00AM.  I found this to be an excellent event, and Charlie is one of the more effective moderators I've run across.  If you're looking for director level and above talent, or if that happens to fit your job, you should consider signing up and going to the meeting next Thursday.

This monthly event focuses on helping senior level managers and executives find jobs. We help improve your networking skills, develop and practice your elevator speech, and expand your professional circle of influence.  The program includes a brief topical speaker, guidance on effective networking, several rounds of structured networking, and breakfast.  Please come prepared with a brief, 30-second "elevator speech" explaining who you are, how you add value in business, and what you are looking for.  You will be able to share this with groups of 6 that we rotate every 15 minutes.  Bring business cards or resumes to distribute so people will know how to contact you following the meeting.

There's also a self-employment seminar that starts at 9:00.  Take it from me - this is one of the best management networking groups in St Louis.
