Job Posting: St Louis Java Developers

Jason Morisaki from OCI asked me to post the following jobs for software developers.   OCI, also known as Object Computing Inc, is well-known in St Louis for having excellent Java programmers.  They work together, mentoring staff to improve the level of each person.  Here is Jason's description.

I have a pretty sweet role for 2-3 Java Software Engineers.

We have a project developing Structural Analysis Software for a group of Engineers.  They've established firm requirements (meaning no scope changes) based on various algorithems and have given us the freedom to choose the implementation language and methodologies.  Its a Java Swing App and we're using Test First Development and eXtreme Programming.  Its challenging work and currently, 6 of the 10 Software Engineers are Principal Software Engineers.  We'd prefer someone with Swing experience, but we'll consider a strong Java/OO software engineer.  We'll need 2 maybe 3 additional people to add to the team and we get to make the decision (we don't have to submit to a gate keeper and wait for the client to schedule an interview, make a decision, etc).  Anyone interested would have to get through the normal recruiting process, then a technical phone screen.  If that goes well, we'll schedule a session of paired programming with one of the team members as the final qualification.
