CM Russell says Nice Things About Recruiting Blogs

Corrected: The OnRec site picks up a press release for Recruiting Fly that  says some nice things about the Recruiting Blogosphere.  CM Russell wrote the release - which happens to be one of the better and more concise descriptions of the benefits of recruiting blogging.

"The results have been paying off. Many bloggers have reported a variety of benefits associated with starting their blog. Among them are;

-     Increased traffic to their web site
-     Unsolicited resume submissions
-     Strategic partnerships/new business
-     Positive, interesting discussion within the recruiting community"

The press release was picked up by the OnRec, which happens to have held a conference last week in Chicago.

One of the local recruiting managers I know attended the OnRec conference, and we're getting together later in the week for me to interview him on his experience.  Should be interesting.
