Bullhorn, a well-known staffing and recruiting software vendor, did a study on the methods recruiters use in the new world of social media. The survey was sent out by e-mail to 50,000 recruiters to get take on social networking, blogs, search engines, job boards, and other tools of the trade.
How do I know? My good buddy Jim Stroud - who is one of those leading edge recruiters bloggers called me and told me. It seems the two of us were cited in the study as among the most read and respected blogs. Well, that's a pretty nice thing to hear. It seems 5% of the respondents cited my blog as regularly read.
